Param Hansa Philanthropies (PHP) is investing in school infrastructure to improve quality of education among poor, deprived and underprivileged children - with Bihar as a key focus state in India.

PHP is supporting OSAAT's objective of providing infrastructure to existing Govt Rural schools.

The objective of this initiative is two-part support - (a) Overall infrastructure development, and (b) setting up of smart classrooms with Science Labs with internet connectivity.
- Facilitate access to Science Lab, especially for Government higher secondary school children.
- Build up lab support for the schools to promote interest in pure science for children.

Total Grant: USD 87,500

Name of the School: Rajkiyekrita Uchcha Vidyalaya, Neora, Bihat, India.

Number of Students: 433

Grades: Classes 9 & 10, 10 teachers, Hindi medium.

Requirements: The school has three buildings, out of which two are in very poor condition and not used. Four classrooms are held in the third building, which is also not in good condition. The toilets are also in poor condition.

Status: Construction started with the ground breaking ceremony on 15-Dec-2023; Completion by Sep-2024.
